The Amigo comes locked to a 25km/h speed limit to meet EN15194 Australian e - bike standards. This means you can ride it without rego and a licence under Australian law, just like a pushbike. You can easily change this setting via the LCD control panel on your handlebars in just 30 seconds with a few clicks.
Using the Amigo e - bike is a breeze. First, make sure the battery is fully charged. The charger is included, and the 48V / 15AH SAMSUNG battery can give you up to 55km+ range per charge. Turn on the bike using the half - grip throttle's on/off switch. You can adjust the speed and other settings on the Big Stone Colour LCD display screen. When carrying cargo, use the front and rear racks. The rear rack can hold up to 65kg. If you want to carry passengers, convert the back tray into a flat seat and attach the rear passenger foot pegs.
For safety, always wear a helmet. The front and rear TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes will help you stop quickly. The bike is weatherproof, but it's still a good idea to dry it off after riding in the rain.
To maintain your Amigo, regularly check the tyre pressure of the 20 x 4 inch fat tyres.
