Using the Grin V6 torque arms is quite straightforward. First, figure out if you need to install it on the front or rear motor, and on which side. Then, position the long 'J' shaped arm in a way that it clears the hardware around the dropout. Use the versatile frame clamp to secure it to the bike tubing. You can adjust the orientation of the arm using the splined inserts to make it parallel to a frame or fork component. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the tightness of the frame clamp and the splined inserts. If you notice any signs of wear or damage, especially to the 5mm thick splined inserts, it's a good idea to replace them. Also, keep the parts clean to ensure smooth operation. Remember, if your frame has fender eyelets near the dropouts, consider using our TorqArm V5 for a tidier setup.
