When you order any Add - ons along with a SplitRail LS rack, we'll key - match all components before it leaves our warehouse. It's compatible with 2” SplitRail and SplitRail LS. With one Add - on, you can carry 3 bikes; with two, you can carry 4 bikes. However, it lowers the max weight capacity from 60 lbs per tray to 45 lbs per tray. The tray can be adjusted 4” side - to - side to prevent bike interference. It secures your bike by the front wheel without touching the frame. It can carry road tires up to 3.0” wide mountain bike tires and diameters from 20” to 29”. It's also compatible with bicycle wheelbases from 34” to 50”. An integrated cable lock secures the bike to the rack. But note, it's not for use with fender - equipped bicycles. The rack weighs 16 lbs and the shipping weight is 27 lbs.

Using this Rocky Mounts Splitrail Add - on is easy. First, make sure your SplitRail or SplitRail LS rack is installed properly. Then, attach the Add - on according to the instructions. If you're carrying multiple bikes, you can adjust the tray 4” side - to - side to avoid any interference between the bikes. Secure your bike by the front wheel using the integrated cable lock. When loading bikes, keep in mind that the max weight capacity per tray is 45 lbs. Also, don't use this Add - on with bikes that have fenders.
