A completely redesigned tuning chip from the ground up for your e-bike with a Shimano motor. It features a brand - new design, along with entirely new hardware and firmware. The SpeedBox 1.3 tuning chip lets you override the speed limiter on your electric bike. When in use, your display will show the actual speed up to 23 km/h. If you want to view accurate speed and all riding data during your ride, we suggest choosing the SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning for Shimano. You can see the real values right on your phone's display via our SpeedBox App. Compared to previous versions, this new product connects to the engine's E - Tube port. So, your e - bike motor must have a free E - Tube port to install the new SpeedBox for Shimano. If your motor doesn't have a free E - Tube port, select the “+E - Tube Port” variant. E - bikes without a free E - Tube port usually have a Di2 electronic gear - shifting system or a tube - integrated Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW - SW100, EW - SW300). How does SpeedBox 1.3 work? When the lights are off, SpeedBox is activated. You can deactivate the chip by turning on the lights. If you want tuning to work regardless of the lights, don't connect the red wire during installation, and the tuning will stay activated. If your e - bike has no lights, SpeedBox 1.3 will be always on. Assembly is a breeze as we use original connectors for SpeedBox chips, ensuring proper connection. We've also prepared detailed instructions and videos. Disassembly is just as easy. If you have any installation or disassembly issues, contact us. If you're installing SpeedBox on a new bike, ride it for at least 1 km before activating the chip. Instructions come in text, graphic 'Standard' version, and graphic '+E - Tube port' version. Warning: Operating modified e - bikes like this on public roads may be illegal in some countries. The manufacturer isn't responsible for damages from using SpeedBox products. E - bikes with SpeedBox can only be used on private property at your own risk. Using SpeedBox may void your e - bike's warranty. We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries.
