The newly designed Cateye Velo 7 is an entry-level cycling computer with 7 useful functions. Its larger new screen is super easy to read, and setting it up is a breeze thanks to pre-programmed tire sizes. Key functions include current speed, maximum speed, average speed, trip distance, total distance, elapsed time, and a clock. Features are also great, like auto start/stop, a pace arrow, simple tire size setting, a programmable odometer, and it's zip tie mount compatible with the FlexTight™ universal bracket.

Using your Cateye Velo-7 Vl520 is easy. First, set the tire size according to your bike's needs, which the pre-programmed options make simple. Then, mount it on your bike using the zip tie mount with the FlexTight™ universal bracket. Once it's on, turn it on and start cycling. It will automatically start and stop recording data. To check different functions, just press the appropriate buttons. As for the clock, you can set it to your local time. When it comes to battery, it uses a CR2032 lithium battery that should last about 3 years with 1 hour of use per day, but this can vary based on the environment. Try to keep it away from extreme temperatures and moisture. If you need to set the odometer manually, you can do so only on the current version produced since 2015. And don't forget to check the screen regularly to ensure it's clean and easy to read.
