Using your Microshift ADVENT X Gravel Groupset is easy. First, make sure all components are properly installed according to the provided instructions. When shifting gears, use the shifters with a smooth and firm motion. The shifters are designed to be responsive, so you'll feel a crisp change in gears.
For the rear derailleur, the clutch can be switched on and off. Keep it on when riding on rough terrain to prevent the chain from bouncing off. You can turn it off if you need to remove or install the chain easily.
When it comes to maintenance, regularly clean your groupset. Use a mild cleaner and a soft brush to remove dirt and grime from the shifters, derailleur, and cassette. Lubricate the chain every few rides to keep it running smoothly. Check the brake cables and shifter cables for any signs of wear and replace them if necessary.
Be careful when riding to avoid accidentally braking while shifting. Since the shifter levers are separated from the brake levers, this should be less of an issue, but still pay attention. And always make sure your bike is in good condition before each ride.
