Using the Rocky Mounts Monorail Solo 1 Bike Hitch Rack is easy. First, make sure your vehicle's hitch size (either 1.25' or 2') is compatible and insert the rack using the included adapter sleeve and anti - wobble bolt. Then, lock it in place with the locking hitch bolt. To load your bike, secure it by the front wheel without touching the frame. If you want to carry a second bike, you can add an Add - On. When you need access to your vehicle's hatch, simply tilt the rack down 30 degrees. When not in use, fold it flat against the vehicle.
For safety, always check that the bike is properly secured before driving. Don't exceed the weight limits (60 lbs for one bike or 45 lbs per tray for two bikes). Keep the rack clean by washing it with mild soap and water. Periodically check the bolts and locks for tightness and proper functioning. Store the rack in a dry place to prevent rust and damage.
