The Speedbox 3.0 B.tuning is a reliable third - generation tuning chip designed specifically for e - bikes with Giant 2017 - 2022 motors (except SyncDrive Pro motor with RideControl Go). This amazing chip can suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. Once installed, your e - bike's display will show real data like maximum and average speed, daily mileage, and cruising range.
How does it work? You can activate the tuning kit directly on your bike’s controller. Press the WALK button, and a value of 9.9 km/h (6.2 mph) will be displayed. After that, you can ride at speeds of 40 km/h, 50 km/h, or even over 60 km/h. To deactivate it, just press the WALK button again, and the speed limit will reset to 25 km/h. For e - bikes without a classic control unit with a Walk button, you can use the + - + - button combination to activate and deactivate it.
You can set the maximum speed of electric assistance by switching modes three levels down and then three levels up. The actual speed limit will be shown, and you can switch it by pressing the WALK button shortly or turning the rear wheel 360°. The display values correspond to different speed limits.
The SpeedBox App for SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e - bike to your mobile. After downloading and connecting, you can see current data and trip parameters on your phone. You can store individual trips to compare results with friends.
The app has many features like tuning control, speed limit settings, saving and viewing trips, invisible tuning, motor lock, and motor diagnostics. Although the SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning doesn't rely on the app, it's a great tool for an overview of your performance.
Before ordering the chip, download the app to your phone with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher. Try the demo version to ensure it works on your phone.
