It overrides the speed limiter, so you can ride at unlimited speed. After pairing with the SpeedBox App, you'll see real riding data on your phone screen. You can also set your own speed limit and monitor and store all trip parameters on your phone anytime, anywhere.
Compared to earlier versions, this new product connects to the engine's E - Tube port. So, your e - bike motor must have a free E - Tube port to install this new SpeedBox for Shimano. If your motor lacks a free E - Tube port, choose the “+E - Tube Port” variant.
E - bikes without a free E - Tube port often have a Di2 electronic gear - shifting system or a tube - integrated Satellite System ON/OFF Switch (EW - SW100, EW - SW300).
The '+E - Tube port' variant is for e - bikes without a free E - Tube port, usually those with one of these components:

Using the SpeedBox 1.3 B.tuning is a breeze. First, make sure your e - bike's Shimano motor has a free E - Tube port. If not, go for the '+E - Tube Port' variant. Connect the tuning chip to the E - Tube port of your e - bike motor. Then, pair your e - bike with the SpeedBox App on your mobile phone via Bluetooth. Once paired, you can view real riding data on your phone and set your desired speed limit. When riding, the speed limiter is deactivated, giving you the freedom to ride at unlimited speed. However, remember to always follow local traffic laws. For maintenance, keep the chip dry and clean. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures and moisture. If you encounter any issues, check the connection between the chip and the E - Tube port and make sure your mobile app is up - to - date.
